National identity is characteristics distinguishing a nation from the others. The identity can be seen externally and internally. External symbols are what appear from the inner spirit. National identity is indeed ratified and promulgated by agreement in the constitution and laws. However, what has been formulated has a long history and is always related to the spirit of the nation's personality.
