Abstract
Men agree to live together in a community in order to achieve a certain goal. This goal is based on values that are considered as measurement of good. The difference in value systems in each community is a consequence of the different perspectives on human. In this lecture, the concept of the Indonesian and the values following it will be discussed related to the values that are internalized in University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta. What is the relationship between the two value systems? Do the two contradict or support each other? To answer this question, the concept of human that underlies the two value systems above will be explored through discovery based learning.
